Join our team at a leading SEN school, as an Art/Design Technology (DT) Teacher. We are looking for a passionate, creative, and dedicated individual to deliver high-quality, engaging, and inclusive Art and DT lessons to students with special educational needs. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Art and DT lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other staff members.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.

  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and other stakeholders.

  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
