I am recruiting for an Aerospace Accreditation Manager / Aerospace Product Manager for a repeat client specialising in the assessment & accreditation of UK organisations. The successful candidate will work specifically with customers within the aerospace and aviation sectors, bringing a wealth of experience in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of accreditation & assessment within this field. This is a full-time hybrid/remote position, working from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend travel., * Oversee and coordinate all aspects associated with maintaining accreditation, auditing, and assessments within the aviation/aerospace field

Ensure the successful procurement and delivery of contracts within budget, on time, and in accordance with accreditation requirements, from start to finish

Establish the assessment approach, select, lead, and coordinate the assessment team(s), and collate and report each assessment

Handle an approximate caseload of 5-10 customers at any one time, ensuring the highest level of customer care to successfully deliver and complete projects within agreed timeframes

Work remotely for up to 50% of the working week, with the remaining 50% spent travelling to and working from customers’ sites

Travel (including frequent overnight stays) across the UK and occasionally overseas (Middle & Far East)
This role will appeal to candidates who have held senior positions within the aerospace/aviation accreditation field. You should be comfortable and confident working both independently and as part of a team. You will be expected to travel for up to 50% of your working week, with the remainder being remote-based. You will be responsible for all aspects from conceptualisation to execution, ensuring the timely and in-budget delivery of aerospace contracts and projects in accordance with accreditation requirements., * Extensive knowledge of the aerospace/aviation sector with a strong track record of working within a third-party certification/accreditation body, focusing on quality, assessment, and auditing

Hands-on experience and a good understanding of aerospace management systems in organisations, specifically AS9100, AS9110 and AS9120

Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17021 and its implementation, as well as ISO 9001 / 14000 / 45000

Valid UK driving license

Comfortable with travelling (including overnight stays) for up to half of the week, with occasional overseas travel
