Overview
We are recruiting a dedicated Production Team Leader to join a brilliant team in Scunthorpe. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of quality and service within the production environment, particularly in the food industry. The successful candidate will lead and train team members, ensuring compliance with all hygiene, safety, and production standards.

Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Food Hygiene, Cleaning, and Health and Safety procedures.
- Maintain high standards of quality and service in all job functions.
- Lead team members by providing knowledge, experience, and training in collaboration with the training officer/manager.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with hygiene measures and safety standards in production.
- Check personnel adherence to hygienic standards.
- Organise instructions for employees, assist in problem-solving, and distribute tasks among team members.
- Ensure all team members follow proper procedures and guidelines.
- Share industry-specific techniques to improve the use of tools and equipment, and enhance quality or speed of production.
- Strictly follow all company procedures including traceability, critical control points such as metal detection, injecting, x-rays, dry curing, and smoking procedures.
- Oversee the production of all labels, ensuring accuracy in dates and codes.
- Guarantee the quality of all products, adhering to designated processes.
- Instruct teams on emergency procedures and ensure readiness for any production process emergencies.
- Address non-compliance among team members regarding hygiene, attendance, breaks, and work safety, and report to supervisors or managers as necessary.
