Neighbourhood Response Officer * Job Type: Full-time / Temp 6 months (possible extension) * Location: Highbury East / Hybrid working * Salary: £19.75 PAYE or £24.52 Umbrella We are seeking a dedicated Neighbourhood Response Officer to join a large housing association based within Highbury East. This role involves collaborating with teams, resident groups, and external partners to maintain clean, safe, and well-maintained estates. You will also address and prevent anti-social behaviour and support vulnerable customers, ensuring a cohesive community environment. Main Responsibilities: * Develop and implement neighbourhood plans and local offers. * Conduct regular estate inspections, prioritising fire safety and other risk assessments. * Collaborate with local residents' groups to enhance community facilities, activities, and events. * Work with local partners on safety and anti-social behaviour issues, attending meetings as needed. * Coordinate with various departments on neighbourhood improvements. * Manage tenancy breaches and provide support to residents requiring additional help. * Handle property viewings, tenancy signings, and assignments. * Represent the organisation in court proceedings and manage eviction processes. * Conduct property condition checks and assist in major incidents or tenant relocations. Experience and Knowledge: * Strong background within Housing / Local Authorities * Worked within a Neighbourhood Officer role or similar previously * Proven experience in delivering excellent customer service. * Experience interacting directly with customers and external partners. * Familiarity with working according to plans and achieving set targets. * Capable of exercising sound judgement in various situations.
