Join our team at Reed Professional Services, a management consultancy specialising in IT and financial services. We are currently seeking a Programme Manager to lead a critical project for our client, focusing on the procurement and implementation of a new education system.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead the setup of a new programme from scratch, supporting the implementation, shaping, and running of the programme.
- Conduct discovery work to determine the structure of the programme, including resource mapping, work stream mapping, and discovery mapping.
- Establish governance structures and manage external vendor relationships.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders such as the Director of IT, Head of Infrastructure, Head of Data, and Head of Service Management, as well as stakeholders within the education team at Gloucester Council and local schools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of Programme Management experience, ideally within education system implementation projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging with senior leaders and educational stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and leadership strategy skills.
- Experience working in education or local authority sectors.
- Proven ability to review and complete documentation reviews.
