Join our team at Reed Professional Services, a management consultancy specialising in IT and financial services. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to work with the Technology Commercial team. This role involves supporting key projects within a prestigious, long-standing UK organisation.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of projects involving SAP or finance systems, ensuring scope, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Identify, track, and manage interdependencies across projects and workstreams to mitigate risks and ensure seamless delivery.
- Maintain robust governance, providing clear reporting on progress, risks, and issues to key business stakeholders.
- Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Champion best practices in project and change management, contributing to process improvements and lessons learned.
- Understand the drivers to enable others to perform; show empathy but equally set clear, unambiguous targets that individuals, teams, and suppliers are held accountable to.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects in large organisations.
- Strong experience in stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and driving cultural/behavioural change.
- Hands-on experience with SAP implementations or finance transformation projects.
- Exceptional ability to influence and manage multiple senior stakeholders.
- Skilled in identifying and managing cross-project dependencies.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches.
Desirable:
- Experience in Agile/Lean teams using SCRUM, KANBAN, XP; Continuous Improvement; Microsoft Project, Jira, HP Application Lifecycle Management, and MS Office tools; Supplier Management.
