Join our team at Reed Professional Services, a management consultancy specialising in IT and financial services. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to work with the Technology Commercial team. This role involves supporting key projects within a prestigious, long-standing UK organisation.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of projects involving SAP or finance systems, ensuring scope, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Identify, track, and manage interdependencies across projects and workstreams to mitigate risks and ensure seamless delivery.
  • Maintain robust governance, providing clear reporting on progress, risks, and issues to key business stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Champion best practices in project and change management, contributing to process improvements and lessons learned.
  • Understand the drivers to enable others to perform; show empathy but equally set clear, unambiguous targets that individuals, teams, and suppliers are held accountable to.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects in large organisations.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and driving cultural/behavioural change.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP implementations or finance transformation projects.
  • Exceptional ability to influence and manage multiple senior stakeholders.
  • Skilled in identifying and managing cross-project dependencies.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches.

Desirable:

  • Experience in Agile/Lean teams using SCRUM, KANBAN, XP; Continuous Improvement; Microsoft Project, Jira, HP Application Lifecycle Management, and MS Office tools; Supplier Management.
