• Annual Salary: £13 – £15 per hours 40 hours guaranteed
• Location: Near Corbridge, Northumberland

We are seeking a Sous Chef / Trainee Chef to join our team at a prestigious wedding venue set in spectacular surroundings in Northumberland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about food and looking to enhance their culinary skills in a busy, high-quality environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Work alongside a skilled team to deliver the highest quality of food for weddings and events.
• Participate in the preparation and presentation of dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
• Assist in the planning and execution of menus.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Gain valuable skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment, contributing to various culinary tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A passion for food and culinary arts.
• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential for trainee applicants.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Own transport is essential due to the location of the venue.

• Wednesday: 7am – 7pm
• Thursday: 8am – 1pm
• Friday: 1pm – 9pm
• Saturday: 7am – 6pm
• Sunday: 8am – 12pm
