We are inviting applications for the position of Assistant Head Housekeeper at our prestigious 5-star hotel. This role is perfectly suited for an ambitious Head Housekeeper from a smaller hotel or a current Supervisor within a large hotel setting, looking to advance their career in a high-profile environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist the Head Housekeeper in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms and public areas meet the hotel's rigorous standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure specifications are met.
- Manage the inventory of housekeeping supplies, placing orders and controlling costs effectively.
- Address guest complaints regarding housekeeping service and take immediate corrective action.
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of the housekeeping budget and maintain records for housekeeping supplies.
