Salary : £40k (£45k after probation) flexible

About the Role
We are on the hunt for an experienced Bar Manager to join a dynamic team for one of our GREATEST clients. This role promises total immersion in music and events, working alongside passionate, creatively driven individuals. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for the seamless operation of multiple bars at the premisses, ensuring they deliver a best-in-class guest experience for live music, club nights, comedy, and private events.

Our UNIQUE Client is at the forefront of London's entertainment scene, with two brand new venues that are redefining nightlife in Soho. Their state-of-the-art 2000 capacity space and a vibrant neighbourhood bar on the iconic Denmark Street are bringing live music, club nights, comedy, and private events to life. Their shows have featured some big names like Ricky Gervais, Annie Mac, and Gabriels, as well as private events which hosted top brands like Aston Martin and Amazon and more..

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee bar operations and manage a team of Supervisors, Bartenders, and Barbacks approx. 30 staff members.
  • Act as the main point of contact for staff, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain responsibility as Personal License Holder.
  • Coordinate logistics for orders, deliveries, stocking, inventory, and cellar management
  • Implement and oversee opening/closing procedures.
  • Manage staff performance, training, and payroll.
  • Handle POS system and nightly reporting.
  • Manage waste, comps, discounts, and transfers.
  • Maintain bar structures, equipment, and back-of-house areas.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in high-volume wet-led venues/ multi-site managing experience welcomed!
  • Personal license holder.
  • Familiar with bar operations at concerts, club nights, and corporate events.
  • Dedicated to spending 2 full days each week on admin work with excellent attention to details
  • Inclusive and mentoring leadership style.
  • Committed, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
