Reed Engineering are currently working with a leading electronics company that services all sectors of the electronics market. Due to growth they are currently looking for a Test Engineer who is ready to contribute to their advanced technology systems and exceed client expectations with the companies' full 'end-to-end' solutions. Day-to-day of the role: Operate both automatic and manual test equipment to test PCBs and assemblies according to specified standards. Provide and record accurate test result sheets. Read and interpret circuit diagrams of PCBs and assemblies to assist in fault finding and resolving test failures. Maintain awareness of Health and Safety issues, particularly those relating to an electrical/electronic test environment. Engage in customer interactions to resolve issues through phone, email, and in-person communications. Collaborate with production engineering on new product introduction. Support Production testers and test technicians with equipment setup, fault finding, and training. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven background in fault finding to component level on a wide range of electronic products, including analogue and digital circuitry. Proficient in testing assembled PCBs to functional test specifications and maintaining accurate records. Experienced in using test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
