Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Operative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in forklift truck (FLT) operation, stock control, machine operation, and general higher-skilled labor tasks. This role is crucial to ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the site. Key Responsibilities: Forklift Truck (FLT) Operation: Safely operate FLT to move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse. Stock Control: Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure proper stock rotation. Machine Operation: Operate and maintain warehouse machinery, ensuring all equipment is used safely and efficiently. General Labor: Perform higher-skilled labour tasks as required, including assembly, packaging, and quality control. Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to achieve warehouse goals and meet deadlines.Qualifications: Proven experience in a manufacturing / production environment or similar role. Valid FLT license and experience in operating forklifts. Strong understanding of stock control procedures. Experience in operating machinery and use of power tools is beneficial Ability to perform higher-skilled labor tasks. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and teamwork skills.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
