Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Technician/Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the commissioning and decommissioning of equipment, provide technical support, and deliver training to clients. You will play a crucial role in optimising equipment performance and enhancing customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Commissioning & Decommissioning: Advise clients on optimal workshop arrangements. Coordinate installation and commissioning across various sites. Manage pre-shipment preparation and packing for decommissioning. Documentation & Training: Ensure availability of up-to-date equipment documentation. Train and audit client personnel on equipment operation and maintenance. Issue training reports and certificates. Technical Support: Provide Level 3 technical support on-site and remotely. Conduct preventive maintenance and advise on local supply of parts. Monitor equipment standardisation and supervise upgrades. Supervision & Reporting: Monitor production output and recommend improvements. Ensure compliance with documentation and procedures. Report deviations and propose action plans for performance improvement.Competencies: Continuous improvement and learning solutions development. Breakdown maintenance and equipment performance comparison. Planning, organising, and coaching skills. Conflict management and responsible decision-making. Strong reporting and communication abilities.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or NVQ or time served in related field.
