Maintenance Supervisor Location: Aylesford, Kent Job Type: Full-time, Permanent – Days only Salary: £50,000 per annum We are seeking a Manufacturing/Production Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all Engineering and Facility activities at our client’s Aylesford site. This role involves a blend of hands-on work and delegation, providing leadership and direction to the team while supporting all departments. Day-to-day of the Maintenance Supervisor role: Supervise and support a team of technicians on technical matters, improving service delivery and reducing costs. Monitor and report on departmental KPIs. Conduct engineer audits and deliver Toolbox Talks. Manage engineering aspects from planning to completion. Develop practices to improve productivity and product quality. Develop new health and safety policies and conduct in-house training on best practices. Maintain up-to-date records and actively engage in continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure food hygiene and safety standards are consistently upheld. Required Skills & Qualifications of the Maintenance Supervisor: Formal engineering qualification. Experience in electrical and mechanical installation. Strong understanding of health and safety practices; IOSH or higher preferred. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. Proficient in incident investigation, risk assessments, and audit inspections.
