REED Engineering are once again working with an international business who are looking to add a Field Engineer to their team on a full-time permanent basis. You will be responsible for running the client's range of directional drilling and wellbore navigation systems. This role is mainly based offshore (not on rotation), with a small amount of workshop based duties. Therefore, we require candidates based within a suitable commutable distance to Aberdeen. Your package will be made up of a retainer salary with a generous offshore day-rate. Day-to-day duties include: Plan and perform rig site operations and troubleshoot field problems Liaison between client and customer at rig locations Recording of survey data We require candidates who: Hold valid certification to work offshore Have previously worked with the following equipment/tooling: drilling motors, rotary steerable systems, MWD, LWD, wellbore surveying, cased hole If this sounds like you, apply today…
