It’s a beautiful, coastal, 202-bedroom chalet village with a theatre, purpose-built leisure facilities, a restaurant, and award-winning gardens that feature beautiful views of the Solent. It’s close to the port of Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight Salary: £29,000 – £34,000 We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef to join us at Warner Hotels. What will I be doing? Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring all stations are properly organised and prepared for service.Supervising and training junior chefs, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.Ensuring food safety standards are always adhered to, including proper storage, handling, and cooking techniques.Monitoring inventory levels and managing food costs to meet financial targets.Supporting the Head Chef in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and responding to guest feedback What are we looking for? A Sous Chef who understands the importance of working in a branded environment. You will have the ability to create a culture of support and actively encourages teamwork. Willingness to challenge if standards aren’t meeting required levels. A chef with a passion for great food and service. What skills do I need? Understands the important of working with a branded menu. Experience of managing orders, food stocks and forecast against occupancy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and can adapt quickly to changing requirements. Good financial knowledge with the ability to manage costs in line with the department’s budget.
