YOUR IMPACT
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead all product marketing initiatives for our finance automation products. This is a high‑impact, individual contributor role for a strategic thinker who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. You will be the expert on our finance buyers, our R2R automation products, and the competitive landscape. You will translate this expertise into powerful messaging, compelling content, and successful go‑to‑market (GTM) strategies that accelerate pipeline and drive revenue growth. You will be the chief storyteller for finance automation at Redwood, responsible for articulating our unique differentiation in R2R automation to the market and empowering our sales and customer success teams to win.
- Strategic positioning and messaging: Develop and own positioning, value propositions, and messaging for Redwood’s Finance Automation products. Craft compelling narratives that differentiate Redwood in the finance automation market and resonate with CFOs, Controllers, Finance Transformation leaders, Heads of Shared Services and Global Process Owners for R2R.
- Go‑to‑market strategy and execution: Design and execute GTM strategies for new finance automation product releases and features. Manage the launch process end‑to‑end, working cross‑functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and the broader Marketing team.
- Sales and partner enablement: Create and maintain a library of high‑impact finance‑specific sales tools: R2R pitch decks, Value calculators, competitive battle cards, case studies, and qualification guides. Deliver training to sales and partner teams so they can confidently communicate Redwood’s differentiation and business outcomes.
- Market and competitive intelligence: Be the authority on the finance automation market and R2R — competitors like BlackLine, Trintech, FloQast and others. Conduct ongoing analysis of trends in finance transformation (S/4HANA migration, AI in the close, audit readiness) to inform Redwood’s marketing strategy and roadmap.
- Customer advocacy: Engage with finance leaders to understand their challenges and successes. Build a pipeline of customer advocates and create compelling case studies, video stories, and testimonials that highlight tangible outcomes like faster close, lower costs, and improved compliance.
- Analyst relations: In partnership with corporate AR, manage relationships with analysts to secure favourable coverage in their research and benchmarking reports and equip them to handle inbound inquiries from their members.
- Content strategy: Act as subject matter expert for finance automation. Partner with the content team to author thought leadership: blogs, white papers, webinars, benchmark reports, and speaking sessions targeted at finance executives.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
Experience: 6‑8 years of B2B product marketing experience, with at least 4 years in a role focused on SaaS solutions.
Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of finance transformation, ERP finance processes, and the R2R cycle. Experience marketing to CFOs, Controllers, and Shared Services leaders strongly preferred.
Forward‑Thinking Vision: Knowledgeable about the future of automation, particularly the emerging field of Agentic AI orchestration.
Proven GTM Success: A demonstrated track record of successfully developing and executing go‑to‑market strategies for enterprise software products.
Exceptional Storyteller: You can distill complex finance automation concepts into clear, concise, and value‑based messaging for the office of the CFO. A portfolio of writing samples (e.g., blog posts, white papers, launch plans) is required.
Strategic & Hands‑On: You can build a strategic plan while simultaneously executing the tactical work required to get things done. As an individual contributor, you are comfortable writing the first draft, building the presentation, and analyzing the data yourself.
Data‑Driven: Skilled at leveraging customer data, market research, and performance metrics to refine positioning and strategy.
Cross‑Functional Leadership: Proven ability to collaborate with and influence cross‑functional teams, including product management, sales, and engineering, without direct authority.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
