We are excited to be recruiting a Tax Associate for our Malvern based client to join a supportive and collaborative tax team. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working alongside adaptable hours to help you maintain a great work-life balance. They are ideally looking for a full-time team member (37.5 hours per week), but are happy to consider part-time applicants. This opportunity is perfect for someone who has recently completed their ATT qualification or already has experience in a tax-focused role and is ready to take the next step in their career.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a varied and hands-on role where you’ll take real ownership of your work and build strong client relationships. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your own portfolio of approximately 330 personal tax clients, preparing tax returns and providing clear, confident advice
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, supporting them with queries and guiding them through their tax affairs
  • Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients, including tax code updates, refund queries, and general correspondence
  • Reviewing corporation tax returns and supporting wider tax compliance work
  • Assisting with the preparation of P11Ds
  • Attending client meetings and calls, building trusted relationships and delivering a high level of service
  • Preparing and submitting Capital Gains Tax returns
