We're excited to be recruiting a Tax Associate for our Malvern based client to join a supportive and collaborative tax team. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working alongside adaptable hours to help you maintain a great work-life balance. They are ideally looking for a full‑time team member (37.5 hours per week), but are happy to consider part‑time applicants. This opportunity is perfect for someone who has recently completed their ATT qualification or already has experience in a tax‑focused role and is ready to take the next step in their career.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing your own portfolio of approximately 330 personal tax clients, preparing tax returns and providing clear, confident advice
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, supporting them with queries and guiding them through their tax affairs
- Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients, including tax code updates, refund queries, and general correspondence
- Reviewing corporation tax returns and supporting wider tax compliance work
- Assisting with the preparation of P11Ds
- Attending client meetings and calls, building trusted relationships and delivering a high level of service
- Preparing and submitting Capital Gains Tax returns
- Supporting with Trust registrations via the Trust Registration Service
You’ll have autonomy over your client portfolio, while also benefiting from the support and expertise of senior colleagues, managers, and partners—especially during busy periods.
