Electrician -Renewable Energy UK-wide travel required | Company Vehicle Provided | Attractive Salary DOE

The Role

You will play a key role in the servicing, maintenance, and commissioning of commercial and domestic Solar PV systems, including:

  • Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical components, inverters, and solar modules
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults across a range of rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV installations
  • Leading or supporting the commissioning of solar PV projects and inverter installations
  • Providing technical support and developing solutions for complex electrical issues
  • Liaising directly with clients and subcontractors, ensuring excellent communication and professionalism
  • Conducting all tasks in compliance with HSE procedures and participating in risk assessments

What We’re Looking For

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent) – Essential
  • Full UK Driving LicenceEssential
  • Proven experience with Solar PV installation and maintenanceEssential
  • Experience with battery storage system installationsAdvantageous
  • IPAF, Working at Heights, First Aid or Health & Safety certifications – Desirable
  • Drone licenceDesirable
  • Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and willingness to travel across the UK, including overnight stays
