We are a well-established UK wholesale business supplying a wide range of quality products to customers nationwide. We are currently seeking a Logistics Supervisor to take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of outbound equipment shipments and collections. This is an important role within the business, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods through third-party transport providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily running of outbound deliveries, collections, and equipment shipments
  • Schedule and submit transport requests to third-party courier partners in line with agreed timelines
  • Act as the main point of contact for couriers and customers regarding logistics queries
  • Monitor daily operations and proactively manage any changes, issues, or additional charges
  • Raise and manage purchase orders and ensure all relevant shipment documentation is accurately prepared
  • Track and follow up on outstanding collections, returns, and deliveries
  • Raise and manage damage claims with courier partners where required
  • Maintain clear and effective communication across internal teams and external partners

About You

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and confident working in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong administration and customer service skills
  • Excellent IT ability (experience with Microsoft Navision is beneficial but not essential - full training will be provided)
  • High levels of accuracy, dependability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload and make effective decisions under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive approach with the confidence to use initiative
  • A willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Hours

Full-time position: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 17:00
