We are recruiting on behalf of a leading brand in the flooring industry for an experienced Commercial Specification Manager to cover the South East region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive sales professional with strong commercial awareness and experience in specification-led projects within the construction, flooring, or interiors sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships within your territory, driving specification opportunities from concept to delivery.
- Build and maintain a robust project pipeline through proactive business development.
- Deliver engaging product presentations and sales meetings, both face-to-face and digitally.
- Take ownership of sales performance, margins, and customer satisfaction in your area.
- Work collaboratively with National Specification Managers to secure large-scale projects.
- Use CRM systems effectively for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in specification sales within flooring, construction, or interior finishes.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- A focus on driving good quality, results-oriented behaviours with a flexible 50/50 balance of working from home and being on the road.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage complex sales cycles.
- Comfortable using digital tools to support customer engagement and reporting.
- Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider sales team.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South East region.
