This pivotal role will support the Managing Editor in all aspects of producing their bi-monthly publication and the quarterly technical supplement, which are core parts of the organisation’s member offerings. This role is a full-time position and offers a hybrid working arrangement of two days a week in their London office.

The Assistant Editor will work closely with the Managing Editor in all aspects of the publishing process, including processing submissions, editing and proofreading, through to online submission. You will act as the point of contact for authors and stakeholders, and this role will also work closely with the Graphic Designer on a daily basis.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Copy-editing, proofreading and content management
  • Acting as the point of contact for authors, writers and other internal/external colleagues
  • Uploading content on the publication website, maintaining the relevant webpages

You should be interested in working with content that may sometimes be technical. You will have great initiative, and a can-do approach, as well as the ability to hit the ground running.

Our client offers great company benefits including a generous pension, life assurance and private healthcare. If you are looking for a role where you will have the opportunity to develop and work in an inclusive and supportive environment, please send your CV and a short cover letter to: info@redwoodrecruitment.com
