We are looking to recruit a hard‑working, resilient individual to work as part of our amazing team. Responsibilities:
- Act as a responsible adult and assist with the supervision, personal care, welfare and keeping safe of individuals and/or groups of children and their environment, working with teachers and other class staff to plan and deliver activities to support student engagement.
- Demonstrate an understanding of children with social, communication and interaction needs.
- Assist with resources and basic classroom management techniques to support their learning.
- Encourage positive behaviour and aid the teacher in managing behaviour.
- Give regular feedback on children’s progress to the class teacher and file records.
- Establish good relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
- Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of the learning environment.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young children and young people with Special Educational Needs.
