Welland House Nursing Home is looking for warm, dedicated Care Assistants and Night Care Assistants to join our friendly team. About the role
As a Day Care Assistant, you’ll:
- Provide kind, person-centred personal care
- Offer support and companionship throughout the day
- Assist during mealtimes
- Encourage residents to join in meaningful and stimulating activities
As a Night Care Assistant, you’ll:
- Provide personal care and reassurance during the night
- Support residents to settle to bed and feel comfortable
- Carry out regular checks and record any concerns
- Help prepare the home for the day ahead
You’ll be fully supported with training, guidance and ongoing development. In return, we ask that you bring a genuine desire to care, empathy for our elderly residents, and an interest in developing your skills within this rewarding field.
About you

- The ability to work well as part of a team and remain calm under pressure
- Previous experience as a Care Assistant
