Your role
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Location: 16 Blakebrook, Kidderminster, Worcestershire, DY11 6AP
You will plan and deliver meaningful activities shaped around residents' interests, abilities and choices. Working alongside our care team, you will:
- Organise a varied programme of group activities, social events and one-to-one time.
- Get to know residents and encourage them to continue favourite hobbies or explore new interests.
- Adapt activities so residents with different needs, including those living with dementia, can take part.
- Build connections with families, visitors and the local community.
- Keep activity records and share feedback with colleagues to help improve residents' experience.
- Respect each resident's dignity, preferences and right to choose how they spend their day.
What you'll bring
Experience in activities or a care setting is welcome, but it is not essential. We will support you with training and development. What matters most is your enthusiasm for helping people enjoy fulfilling days.
- A warm, compassionate and patient approach.
- Creativity and confidence to organise engaging activities.
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Reliability, organisation and the ability to work well with others.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to residents' changing needs.
