Job Description

My client runs buses and coaches around central London and for excursions.

It is a successful business and offers something different to the usual Red Bus of London.

We are looking for experienced bus mechanics to maintain the fleet.

You will earn £1200 per week or £62,400 per annum + overtime.

The environment is clean, the work is fair, unlike many garages.

The job will entail up to 3 vehicle inspections/ services daily.

Starting at 7am or 11am, 12 hrs shifts.

We are looking for fully qualified bus mechanics, with experience in bus and coach mechanics.

We may be able to help if you have HGV technician experience and want to work on buses.

Ideally you will have a NVQ level 3 engineering or equivalent in \"heavy goods vehicle maintenance\".

You will have a short interview and be given a bus to inspect.

There may be some questions around legal tolerances on brakes, safety items and that kind of thing on the inspection requirements.

The job is PAYE therefore direct with the employer.

Paid holidays.

This may suit a qualified mechanic who has been contracting or working for a large Tf L company that now wants a different working arrangement.
