As a Senior Associate, you will take immediate conduct of an active, high-caliber caseload. The workload is heavily weighted toward high-value claimant-side litigation for senior executives, directors, and high-net-worth professionals across the financial, legal, and tech sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contentious Litigation: Originating, managing, and leading complex Employment Tribunal and High Court claims. The workload consists largely of high-profile whistleblowing, discrimination cases, and complex dismissals.
- Executive Advisory & Negotiation: Advising senior professionals on complex exit packages, high-value settlement agreements, and enforcement or defence of restrictive covenants.
- Strategic Advocacy: Acting as a trusted advisor to clients navigating career-threatening crises, requiring sharp commercial judgment and tactical litigation strategy.
- Mentor & Fee-Earning Leadership: Working directly alongside Legal 500 'Leading Partners' to mentor junior fee-earners, manage case strategy, and drive the firm's top-tier market standing.
About You
You are a trained and experienced Employment Solicitor or Barrister who thrives on strategic advocacy and dispute resolution.
Experience: 5 years PQE with a proven track record within a respected Legal 500 boutique or recognised national employment practice.
Technical Skillset: Comprehensive experience handling complex claimant-side litigation, drafting pleadings, managing disclosure, and handling high-level executive advisory work.
Mindset: A poised, commanding communicator capable of guiding senior professionals through highly stressful career crises with authority, commercial acumen, and sharp legal instinct.
