The Role
Redwell Primary School are looking to recruit a receptionist to join the team. You need to be patient, hard‑working and have high expectations for yourself and pupils. The post holder’s prime duties would include:
- Answering the telephone
- Face‑to‑face contact with parents/visitors
- Use of Word, Excel and general office administration

Key Tasks
- Update manual and computerised record/information systems
- Assist with managing the school’s email inbox, ensuring the school meets its expected response times and emails are forwarded to the relevant staff member as necessary
- Manage and organise completed forms from parents/carers
- Process administrative duties that link with finance and HR
- Report any issues with the school’s IT systems
- Provide administrative support to staff as needed
- Support in coordinating cover for staff absences

- GCSE grade C in English and mathematics (or equivalent)
- Experience in carrying out administrative tasks
