A brilliant opportunity for a Graduate Test Engineer to join a growing technology company working on complex and innovative software at an exciting time of growth, with the chance to specialise in either automation testing or manual testing.
Location: Leicestershire – hybrid, expected in the office at least 2 days per week (some public transport available from Leicester, Rugby and Market Harborough but much easier if you drive).
Requirements for Graduate Test Engineer:
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field, or equivalent commercial experience.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong testing mentality.
- For the automation-focused role: knowledge of automation tools such as SpecFlow, TestComplete, or similar frameworks.
- For the manual-focused role: experience writing and executing test cases and working to test plans.
- SQL, XML, Jira, Jenkins, relational databases, or web services.
- An interest in working on large-scale, business-critical software systems would be an advantage.
Responsibilities for Graduate Test Engineer:
- Testing complex software products within the system test team.
- Writing and executing test cases, creating accurate bug reports, and tracking progress.
