Location: Based in Cambridge with regular travel to Oxford and occasional national/international travel
Salary: Β£40,000 β Β£50,000 per annum + 10% bonus + equity options + healthcare, pension, and other benefits
Requirements for Technical Support Engineer:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or a related technical field
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical support or engineering role
- Experience developing or supporting advanced imaging or camera systems (infrared experience a plus)
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to convey complex technical concepts to a range of audiences
- Comfortable producing technical documentation, user guides, and support materials
- Familiarity with networking concepts and IT infrastructure
- Proficiency in relevant programming or scripting tools
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Familiarity with CRM tools is a bonus
- Happy to travel regularly as part of the role
Responsibilities for Technical Support Engineer:
- Build, test, debug, and document production-level imaging systems
- Deliver effective, timely technical support to clients via email, phone, and in person
- Conduct technical demonstrations and presentations to customers and internal teams
- Develop and maintain user guides, scripts, and demo materials to support product usage
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify and resolve product issues and improve user experience
