Requirements:
- A 2.1 or 1st class degree in Engineering, Physics, Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Outstanding academic credentials throughout education, including at least AAA at A Level (or international equivalent), alongside a degree from a leading international university.
- Demonstrable experience in a senior design, product development or R&D engineering role.
- Strong CAD design experience.
- Experience with PCB electronics and electronic system design.
- Understanding of CAD and PDM methodologies.
- Strong practical engineering ability with excellent workshop and hands-on development skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies and engineering disciplines.
- Willingness to work onsite five days per week.
- Ability to travel at short notice when required.
- Personal engineering projects demonstrating a passion for building and creating.
- Experience designing and building machines, robotics, automation systems or other complex electromechanical products.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and refine innovative products from early-stage concepts through to production-ready designs.
- Create detailed CAD models and engineering designs.
- Design, build and test physical prototypes.
- Develop PCB-based electronic systems and integrate them into wider products.
- Rapidly iterate designs based on testing and experimental results.
- Identify and solve complex engineering challenges across multiple disciplines.
- Improve product performance, reliability, manufacturability and efficiency.
- Support product development throughout the full engineering lifecycle.
- Contribute directly within workshop and R&D environments through hands-on engineering activities.
