A unique opportunity for a Product Assurance Office with a strong background in compliance to join a wonderful health-tech company in the Ipswich area. Having grown to almost 100 people, they are looking to bring on a dedicated Product Assurance Officer to be at the forefront of ensuring the software solutions meet regulatory standards and enhance patient safety and data integrity. This role would be ideally suited to an assurance & compliance professional from an NHS or health-tech background, however, we also encourage those with strong assurance & compliance backgrounds from transferrable industries to apply., * Lead the creation and execution of the company’s compliance programme.

  • Play a key role in protecting patient data and ensuring software functions smoothly within the healthcare sector.

  • Make a direct impact on healthcare delivery, contributing to meaningful improvements in patient care.

  • Keep current with regulatory changes and industry standards, proactively updating the compliance programme.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of information governance and compliance requirements relevant to the UK health tech sector, including NHS frameworks, ICB regulations, and applicable clinical safety standards.

  • Manage the development and maintenance of the compliance programme, ensuring all policies and procedures are current and effective.

  • Oversee submission processes for necessary frameworks, meeting all timelines and requirements.

  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify compliance risks, recommending corrective actions as needed.

  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies, NHS trusts, and ICBs to ensure ongoing compliance.

  • Create and deliver training sessions for staff on best practices in information governance, compliance, and clinical safety.

  • Investigate and report any suspected data breaches or compliance issues.
