A brilliant opportunity for a current undergraduate or postgraduate student to gain hands -on experience at a growing UK -based AI start -up working at the forefront of machine vision. This internship offers the chance to get stuck into real -world projects involving data collection, software tooling, and hands -on sensor deployment—ideal for someone excited by the intersection of hardware, data, and intelligent system.

Our client values those with absolute top academics - therefore, requires a 2.1 or 1st from internationally renowned university and all A's at A -Level (or international equivalent).
Due to the nature of some client projects, you must be willing and eligible to obtain DV Security Clearance. This generally requires a long -term UK residency history (typically 10+ years) and the ability to pass government security vetting. You can join the team and work on other commercial projects while your clearance application is progressing.

Requirements for Machine Vision Intern:<\/b>
<\/div>
<\/div>
- Consistent top academics and studying/studied for a degree in a STEM subject such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Science
<\/span><\/li> - Solid Python skills and a comfort level working with technical systems
<\/li> - You should have strong knowledge in Computer Vision (i.e. dissertation project, several modules, etc.)
<\/li> - Interest in robotics, or intelligent sensing
<\/li> - Attention to detail when working with large volumes of data
<\/li> - Comfortable setting up and testing physical equipment (e.g. cameras or development boards)
<\/li> - Strong communication skills and a proactive, team -focused mindset
<\/li> - UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to the field -based nature of the role)
<\/li> - Due to the nature of some projects, you must be in a position to qualify for UK security clearance (this usually means you have been a UK citizen for the past 5 years, have a clean criminal record, etc.)

<\/div>Responsibilities for Machine Vision Intern:<\/b>
<\/div>- Supporting the set -up and testing of sensor equipment and mobile platforms
<\/span><\/li> - Capturing and managing image and video data from a variety of environments
<\/li> - Helping prepare data for use in training machine learning models
<\/li> - Writing scripts to automate parts of the data pipeline or assist with visualisation
<\/li> - Collaborating with experienced engineers across software, hardware, and AI domains
<\/li> - Keeping clear documentation of tests and processes
<\/li><\/ul>
