A fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Software Engineer/Developer with proficient knowledge in C# to join an industry-leading software company with offices in Leicestershire. Offering excellent training, career progression and prospects, this is an ideal time for top entry-level C# Software Engineers to start their career while being guided by a team of engineers well versed in hiring graduate talent.
Location: 2 days a week in Leicestershire / 3 days remote (ideally you will drive, but commutable via public transport from Leicester, Market Harborough and Rugby).
Requirements for Graduate C# Software Engineer:
- ~2.1 honours degree or above in a relevant subject with a high Computer Science content i.e. Proficient in C#
- ~ Excellent object-oriented programming knowledge
- ~ Cyber Security, Databases, Agile or Testing
- ~ Knowledge of developing C#.NET web services, SOAP or RESTful
- ~ Experience or exposure to additional languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript or React is beneficial
- ~ Familiarity with Agile environments and tools such as Jira is advantageous
- ~ Exposure to automated testing (e.g. regression testing tools) is beneficial
- ~ Internship or year in industry experience, particularly working with C#, would be highly beneficial
- ~ You have completed personal coding projects, hackathons, or have relevant industry placement experience
- ~ Passion for coding and interest in software development
Responsibilities for Graduate C# Software Engineer:
- Development and maintenance of high-quality software applications
- Developing internal & external facing web services
- Collaboration with software development, testers, and product management teams
- Identify the risks and create a plan of actions
- Contribution to software design
- Work within Agile teams and participate in ceremonies
