Join an industry-leading security consultancy as an Embedded Software Engineer, developing critical cybersecurity solutions for high-profile clients, including the UK national cybersecurity. Based in Derbyshire, this role offers a unique chance to apply your engineering expertise to make a meaningful impact. You will work on a fascinating variety of projects, pushing the boundaries of innovation in cybersecurity while contributing to real-world solutions that protect key infrastructure.
Due to the nature of the role, the successful applicant must be able to obtain DV Security Clearance. This position is fully on-site in the Derby office.
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum + excellent benefits
Requirements:
- Ideally, you will have at least 3 years working in a commercial C/C++ Embedded software role, although strong graduates with a year in industry will be considered.
- Strong design and coding skills.
- Keen interest in security (prior experience not necessary).
- Ability to understand requirements and suggest solutions.
- Any experience with the following technologies would be beneficial: C#, RUST, scripting languages, SQL, IP standards, network security.
- Must be in a position to obtain high-level security clearance.
