A fantastic opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join a well-established technology company delivering secure, scalable software solutions within a highly regulated environment. This role will play a key part in driving automation, improving deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability and performance of critical systems. You will work across both cloud and on-premise environments, supporting modern DevOps practices and contributing to continuous delivery and platform evolution. Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure is essential for this role. Leicestershire – hybrid, expected in the office at least 2 days per week.

Requirements for DevOps Engineer:

  • Strong commercial experience working in a DevOps or Platform Engineering role
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps
  • Experience managing cloud and on-premise infrastructure, particularly within Microsoft environments
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration principles
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python or PowerShell
  • Experience with monitoring and logging solutions
  • Eligibility to obtain UK security clearance
  • Experience with GitOps and modern deployment strategies
  • Exposure to multiple cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Degree educated in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

Responsibilities for DevOps Engineer:

  • Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions across systems and applications
  • Ensure security best practices are embedded across infrastructure and deployment processes
  • Support the full application lifecycle, including troubleshooting and resolving deployment issues
  • Manage incidents and requests in line with structured frameworks such as ITIL
  • Collaborate closely with software engineering and IT teams to support delivery and reliability
  • Contribute to improving system scalability, performance and resilience
  • Exposure to a broad and modern DevOps toolset
