A brilliant opportunity to join an innovative team building high-integrity, security-critical FPGA solutions. Whether you’re a recent graduate building foundations or a seasoned engineer leading architecture and verification, you’ll work across cutting-edge designs used in complex, mission-critical products (with exposure to applied cryptography and wider microelectronics).

Location: Derby (UK travel between sites may be required)

Requirements for FPGA Engineer:

  • Degree in a relevant STEM field (e.g. Electronics, Electrical, Computer or Communications Engineering).
  • Bonus points for experience with Xilinx / Intel (Altera) / Microchip devices; Layer-2/3 networking, USB 3.2 or NVMe; Red Hat Linux.
  • Due to the nature of the projects requiring very high-level security clearance, you must be a British Citizen and have lived in the UK consistently for the past decade - you should be happy to gain security clearance before starting.

Responsibilities for FPGA Engineer:

  • Collaborate with software, hardware and verification colleagues.
  • Champion quality, reliability and best practice.
  • For senior hires: lead work-packages, own interfaces and delivery plans, mentor others, and drive verification strategy.
