You will be joining the development team at an exciting time of growth, with the chance to specialise in either automation testing or manual testing.
Location: Leicestershire – hybrid, expected in the office at least 2 days per week (some public transport available from Leicester, Rugby and Market Harborough but must drive for easier access)
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum + benefits
Requirements for Graduate Test Engineer:
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field, or equivalent commercial experience
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong testing mentality
- For the automation‑focused role: knowledge of automation tools such as SpecFlow, TestComplete, or similar frameworks
- For the manual‑focused role: experience writing and executing test cases and working to test plans
- Ability to grasp complex systems and learn quickly
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Beneficial experience: SQL, XML, Jira, Jenkins, relational databases, or web services
- An interest in working on large‑scale, business‑critical software systems would be an advantage
Responsibilities for Graduate Test Engineer:
- Testing complex software products within the system test team
