A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bid Writer or pro-active, commercially minded Graduate with great writing ability, to join an industry-leading machine-learning software company in London. We would love to hear from high-calibre graduates who possess excellent technical acumen to train as a Technical Bid Writer to coordinate and produce compelling written bids to secure further business for this leading tech company.
Location: London – Hybrid working 3 days in the office / 2 days remote

Requirements for Technical Bid Writer:
- Top academics including a 2:1 or 1st class degree from a leading university
- Minimum of AAB at A Level (or equivalent UCAS points)
- Highly articulate with excellent persuasive written capabilities i.e. you will be known for your excellent writing style
- Ability to articulate complex concepts in a concise, yet simple manner
- Enthusiastic with a desire to work in a fast-paced innovative environment
- Self-starter - while training will be given this role naturally requires someone who can think on their feet, come up with new ideas, and thrives working with autonomy
- Strong technical understanding - if you have the ability to code that would be beneficial to help you liaise with technical teams
Responsibilities for Technical Bid Writer:
- Produce top-tier bid materials, including completing questionnaires, tenders, and RFP submissions.
- Refine proposals with a business-focused approach, aligning content with input from key departments including Technology, Commercial, Operations and Legal teams.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders across the business to create clear, engaging content.
- Approach responses creatively, ensuring that value propositions and unique qualities are highlighted, even in basic questions.
- Assist the wider Business Team and other functional departments in producing high-quality content for successful tenders and proposals, managing tight deadlines.
- Proof and edit final documents meticulously.
- Integrate key themes and showcase the products' distinct advantages.
- Oversee project management tasks, such as assigning, monitoring, reporting, and fast-tracking tasks for RFP projects, escalating any issues that may delay timely completion to project leaders.
- Keep records of content and data up to date to support future opportunities.
- Develop top-quality bid templates and oversee the management of the bid content library.
