A brilliant opportunity for a Front-End Software Developer to join an incredibly exciting start-up in London, which is currently in stealth mode developing exciting technology in the security space. Joining a company founded by experts in their field, who have already realised success with other start-ups, this offers the chance to work in an environment filled with technological innovation whilst working on a cutting-edge tech stack. This is a unique opportunity to join at this early stage, receiving equity in the business, while helping shape and develop the products during this innovative R&D stage.
Location: Central London, UK – hybrid working
Salary: £45,000 - £70,000 per annum + equity in the business (£45k for Graduate Level, £55k - £60k for 2 years etc)
Requirements for Software Developer:
- Ideally, you will have at least 1 year of front-end development experience but an exceptional graduate considered (i.e. 1st class degree from a top uni with A*A*A at A Level)
- Ideally, you will have experience working in a start-up or SME.
- Excellent academic history including 2.1 or first class STEM degree and at least AAB at A Level (or equivalent)
- Must be proficient in either TypeScript or React
- Other highly relevant technologies which would be beneficial: JavaScript, Vue, Node, Yarn, Kotlin, Swift
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Natural ability to quickly pick up and learn new technologies
Responsibilities for Front-End Software Developer:
- Design and refine user interfaces that are responsive, inclusive, efficient, and scalable.
- Enhance frontend systems, development tools, and workflows on an ongoing basis.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to shape and implement new functionality.
- Improve code quality with a focus on speed, stability, and long-term upkeep.
