Job Description
React C# Software Engineer / Developer
A fantastic opportunity for a Software Engineer/Developer with commercial experience in React and C# to join a well-established software company developing browser-based solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-calibre engineer to work on modern web technologies, contributing to exciting multi-tier web applications. You will be joining a collaborative team offering strong mentorship, career progression, and the chance to work on impactful projects.
Location: Leicester – Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in office
Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 per annum benefits (dependent on experience)
Requirements for React C# Software Engineer / Developer
- Commercial software development experience (ideally 2+ years)
- Experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting web clients using Classic ASP and JavaScript
- Strong experience with modern web frameworks, specifically React and Redux
- Experience in JavaScript development – both client-side scripting and server-side ASP
- Experience working with automated testing tools (e.g., QUnit for JavaScript or similar)
- Experience in multi-tier web application development
- Experience designing for accessibility standards
- Experience using SQL Server for database interactions
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Responsibilities for React C# Software Engineer / Developer
- Design, develop, deploy, and support robust web-based applications
- Work on both front-end (React, JavaScript) and back-end (ASP, C#) development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Product Management, and UX/UI
- Contribute to the development of multi-tier web applications
- Ensure applications meet accessibility standards and best practices
- Write and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality and reliability
- Perform database interactions using SQL Server
- Support existing systems while contributing to the design of new solutions
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the team
