Redstone Commodity Search are working with an established renewable energy company looking to hire a UK Power Billing & Settlements trader to join the team in London.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks
  • Manage the end-to-end billing and settlement process for UK power transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reconcile metering data, invoices, and settlement reports, investigating and resolving discrepancies with counterparties and internal teams.
  • Support billing related to Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and supplier arrangements, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
  • Liaise with trading, operations, and finance teams to ensure settlement data is correctly reflected in internal systems.
  • Monitor settlement timelines, maintain records, and contribute to process improvements and reporting.
Key Qualifications / Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the UK electricity market, ideally in billing, settlements, or operations.
  • Experience working with a UK power supplier, energy trader, or within PPA billing/settlement processes.
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience working with energy settlement or billing systems.
  • Located in London.
