Redstone Commodity Search is working with an international trading house looking for a senior agricultural trader to be based in London.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for trade origination and execution in global agricultural markets.
- Liaise with manufacturers, users and partnered supply chain actors to gain greater price discovery, trading decisions and trade execution.
- Keep up with market trends to maximize profits through business development.
- Negotiate the purchasing and/or sales of focus area commodities.
- Reports into Head of Trading.
Qualifications
- At least 3+ years’ experience in trading grains, soy, wheat, oilseeds, and related soft and agricultural products.
- Ability to spot value and make intuitive decisions.
- Proven track record of successful trades; beneficial to have a transferable book of business.
- Familiar with back office tasks: documentation, letters of credit, etc.
- Located in London.
