Redstone Commodity Search are working with a global trading house looking to hire a Metal Sales & Execution specialist to be based in London. This role sits within a London-based commercial team and works closely with international stakeholders, particularly in Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute trading instructions and service requests for a portfolio of Japanese-speaking clients.
- Maintain close communication with overseas colleagues managing client relationships across Asia.
- Prepare and distribute daily Japanese-language market commentary to clients and internal teams.
- Coordinate with internal functions such as trading, credit, and operations to ensure smooth transaction execution.
- Develop into a broader commercial role over time, including client development, regional travel, and expanded coverage.
Candidate Requirements:
- Fluent in both Japanese and English (spoken and written).
- At least 5 years’ experience in commodity or financial markets.
- Holds a strong academic background (minimum upper Second-Class Honours degree or equivalent).
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and professional.
- Familiar with electronic trading platforms and market data systems.
