Redstone Search Group Ltd are working with a global commodity trading house who are establishing a freight and commodity analytics division and looking to hire a lead / senior analyst to spearhead the division based in London or Madrid.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Own and build a best-in-class freight analytics capability from the ground up
- Deliver market analysis and forecasts across dry bulk (Capesize, Panamax, Supramax, Handysize)
- Generate actionable trade ideas across physical and FFA markets
- Partner closely with traders on risk, hedging, and PnL optimisation
- Develop models, scenarios, and data tools integrating AIS, flows, weather, and macro data
- Define the digital and data roadmap for freight analytics
- Role reports to Global Head of Shipping
