Redstone Commodity Search are working with a fast-growing energy trading platform seeking a commercially driven Biomethane Energy Broker to join its London-based team. Redstone Commodity Search focuses on offering 360° search solutions to the global commodities markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Broker transactions in environmental, specifically biomethane commodities.
- Develop and manage relationships with energy producers, utilities, corporates, and trading houses.
- Track and analyse market trends, policy developments, and pricing across European renewable markets.
- Work closely with internal teams to support trade execution, compliance, and deal settlement.
- Maintain accurate deal records and ensure all documentation is handled in line with regulatory standards.
Candidate Profile:
- 1–4 years’ experience in energy brokerage, trading, or sales, with exposure to biomethane.
- Strong understanding of environmental markets and renewable energy certificates.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both corporate and institutional clients.
- Driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for sustainability and clean energy.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages a plus.
- Must already be located in the UK.
