Redstone Commodity Search is working with a well-established international shipping company that is expanding into the derivatives brokerage space looking for FFA brokers to join their team in either London, Geneva, Dubai or Singapore.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks- Provide clients with insights on dry/wet bulk freight trends and rates.
- Negotiate and structure FFA contracts between buyers and sellers.
- Advise clients on strategies to hedge against freight rate volatility.
- Build and maintain strong networks with shipowners, charterers, and traders.
- Ensure trades meet regulations and manage accurate contract records.
- Role reports into Head of Freight Derivatives.
- 5+ years of experience as an FFA/Freight Derivatives Broker.
- Strong understanding of dry or wet freight shipping markets, freight indices, and FFA’s.
- Proven experience in structuring and closing deals with excellent communication and persuasion skills.
- Transferable portfolio of business is desirable.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, compliance standards, and trade documentation practices.
Role is in either London, Geneva, Dubai or Singapore. For all positions based in Switzerland, Redstone Commodity Search works with their licensed Swiss partner Accurity GmbH. All candidate applications are handled in accordance with Swiss law.
