Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international metals trading house looking to onboard a European Lead Finance & Risk specialist to join their team in London.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead finance and risk functions for European operations, ensuring effective oversight of trading and supply chain activities.
- Structure and manage commodity finance solutions to support trading, production, and distribution of metals and alloys.
- Monitor, assess, and mitigate financial and market risks across trading portfolios and financing structures.
- Partner with commercial and operations teams to optimise capital allocation, liquidity, and treasury processes.
- Provide strategic input on business growth, reviewing financing structures and risk management frameworks.
Required Experience
- Proven track record in commodity finance, trade finance, or structured finance, ideally within metals or broader commodities.
- Strong knowledge of risk management, treasury, and financial oversight in trading or banking environments.
- Experience working with producers, traders, and consumers of raw materials in international markets.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement financing and risk processes for growing businesses.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to engage across commercial and financial functions.
