Job Description:
You will act as a technical lead, client relationship manager, bid manager, and project manager. Responsibilities include excel-based modelling, desktop research, and technical report writing. You will support local authorities in developing carbon baselines and decarbonisation plans, work with businesses to quantify the environmental impact of their products, and support governmental bodies in developing emissions reduction policies.
Essential Criteria:
- At least two years’ experience in GHG emissions analysis or supporting decarbonisation plans.
- Good understanding of GHG emission footprinting and carbon accounting standards.
- Experience in applying creative problem-solving skills.
- Proven organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to perform a range of tasks as required.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in consultancy.
- Knowledge of SBTi.
- Relevant degree, especially post-graduate.
- Strong research and data analysis skills.
- Experience with local authorities and public bodies.
- Experience analysing scope 3 emissions.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
