About the role: The Sales Manager is responsible for driving global revenue growth, developing key customer relationships, and managing an international network of sales agents. The role oversees commercial execution across the chrome, manganese, andalusite, and industrial minerals portfolio, supporting the company’s long-term growth strategy. The position reports directly to the CEO.
Location: Base location is flexible and will be determined by candidate quality, with Johannesburg, London, or Dubai all considered. After 12 to 18 months, the role will relocate internationally to either London or Dubai, and candidates must be open to relocation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the global sales strategy across the minerals portfolio
- Expand market share across Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and India
- Lead and manage international sales agents, including performance targets and reporting
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term supply agreements with key customers
- Partner with operations, logistics, and technical teams to ensure consistent customer delivery
Key Experience
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of seven years commercial or sales experience within minerals, mining, metals, or industrial commodities
- Demonstrated experience managing international customers and third-party sales agents
- Strong commercial judgement with proven negotiation and execution capability
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required
